<aside> đź‘‹ Welcome! This Wiki is a repository for storing and managing various media that address aspects of the global polycrisis and proactive responses to it. In total, it consists of more than one million words and one thousand images carefully curated from content deemed relevant to this topic. It includes websites, research papers, essays, news articles, images, infographics, videos, and podcasts.

But wait… what is a global polycrisis?

A global polycrisis is defined as “the causal entanglement of crises in multiple global systems in ways that significantly degrade humanity’s prospects.” The 21st century is a period marked by the convergence of multiple crises— climate change, biodiversity loss, pandemics, war, migration, poverty and debt— to name just a few. It can be difficult to understand such complex, seemingly intractable phenomena and explore appropriate responses to them. As such, this Wiki aims to help educate people about the global polycrisis, so that they may identify and implement more effective responses.
